Colle Val D'Elsa
Colle Val d’Elsa, worldwide famous as the "city of crystal", is one of the most charming destinations in Tuscany. Divided in two parts between the medieval town – Colle Alta, perched on a rocky spur embraced by mighty walls – and the modern town – Colle Bassa – in a lower position, is half-way between Florence and Siena, along the Via Francigena route and towards the Chianti wine road. Among panoramic views and medieval alleys, it offers several places of interest, among which the Cathedral, the bastions of Porta Nuova, the Museum of San Pietro, the Church of Sant’Agostino, the Museum of Crystal and the river park of the Upper Val d’Elsa.
